How you can help

Financial Donations

United Christian Ministries could not operate without the financial assistance of generous individuals, churches, businesses, civic groups, and others. Many of our donors support the ministry on a regular basis, while others donate as they are able. Donate now!

Food Donations

We can order some food and other items in bulk, but we rely heavily on donations from the community. We welcome donations of shelf stable foods and canned foods. We update our current needs regularly on the home page. When you are at the grocery store, pick up a few items for UCM and drop them off in your grocer's donation cart or here at our building. Thank you for your help and support.

Items generally needed: peanut butter, jelly, cereal, oatmeal, soup, spaghetti sauce, rice, macaroni & cheese, crackers, canned vegetables and fruits, applesauce, canned ravioli, tuna, pancake mix, syrup, baking supplies.Want to host a food drive? Click here for ideas.

Personal and Household items

In addition to food items, UCM also accepts donations of personal care items, such as shampoo, soap, toothpaste and toothbrushes, diapers, feminine products, toilet paper, and razors. Diapers and toiletries are always in short supply.  We also accept donations of cleaning supplies, paper towels, trash bags, and toilet paper.

*We do not accept* furniture, mattresses, electronics, appliances, household goods, clothing, jewelry, etc. Local thrift stores and Habitat Re-Store may be able to accept those items.
